Product Info
Riedel veritas coupe glass, is a fresh take on the traditionally short, chunky coupe (or saucer) of the flapper era. It is made of very thin crystal. Jay Gatsby and party throwers of his fictional ilk, used to pile this style of glass into sky high, champagne-filled pyramids. The new coupe was crafted to optimize the wine's aromas and flavours, as well as enhance the Champagne drinking experience, with an extra, wide mouth shape which amply exposes champagne to air, allowing bubbles and aromas to escape quickly. Created with entertaining in mind, the Coupe was also designed to appeal to and be used by classic cocktail enthusiasts, and can even be repurposed for serving decadent desserts.
