OXO Good Grips Nylon Potato Masher

Really happy with this product. I can mash potatoes without hurting my hand or my wrist. The mash is fine and almost creamy.

Finally found a masher that suits our needs. After going through a few that kept breaking, it seems we have finally found a long lasting one. Also mashes beautifully. Highly recommend!!

Solid masher — so it won't conk in when you give those potatoes a good mashing — and because it's plastic it won't scratch the non-stick pot!

Great masher!! Works Very Well! Potatoes come out really smooth and creamy! FAR better than my last masher! Just need to put in water right after use, so don't have to work on getting leftover mash out of crevices — but is really not a hassle, especially given how well it works! In general, I have enjoyed and gotten value for money from this brand. (Their peeler has lasted me 20 years!)

Does the job well but hard to clean

Does the job well. The hard part is cleaning it by hand. It might be best to pop it into the dishwasher (which we don't have) as it is really hard to get in-between the teeth and clean there with a sponge. Often food is left behind (ew!) and needs to be recleaned. But is really pretty to look at.

Much sturdier than I expected, there is no give in the plastic whilst mashing. I haven't used it for fine potato mash so can't comment on the quality of the mash as yet.

This masher is very solid and comfortable to hold. I enjoy that it doesn't have an outer rim which normally makes mashers hard to clean. It's also shaped very well to be able to get into all the corners of the pot easily. Definitely worth getting.
