This is by far the best drinking chocolate I've had. I tried other brands and it just didn't do it justice but this is a definite winner. Smooth, creamy and chocolate-y so glad I bought it and will be buying it again, no doubt.

This is stronger than your standard drinking chocolate so not a lot of the powder is needed to make a yummy cup of chocolate.

I purchased this product to enjoy it with my wife. It's a great add-on to our "quality-time" together. We both love hot chocolate and who says it must only be enjoyed in winter... This is worth getting.

This is yet another review of my favourite Hot Chocolate, I love this stuff, and am so glad to be able to buy this in 1kg packs - genius.
I add some peppermint essence, or chilli flakes, or coffee, or the traditional marshmallows and cream for a heavenly chocolate indulgence. This stuff is the real deal and well worth it.

Sooooo I did not know what to expect from this drinking chocolate but let me say I love it!!! You can taste that it is good quality so when I had my first cup I just wanted another but I restrained myself haha. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is a fan of drinking chocolate and wants to be blown away :-D

I absolutely LOVE this product. At first I was unsure if it would be worth it, but I took a chance and bought the NoMU 300g Drinking Chocolate. When we got home I made me and my husband a cup. I only took two sips and immediately went onto Yuppiechef to order the 1kg. It is AMAZING, it's really like warm chocolate milk. Will definitely recommend this product to all my friends.

I was going to buy the small pack but I decided on the 1 kg instead. Tastes delicious hot or cold. Very filling because of the milk and the creaminess of the chocolate. Use full cream milk, 2% could spoil it. Going to use it in my baking too - chocolate cupcakes with hot chocolate icing. Really like the innovative brown bag. The drinking chocolate is in a foil bag inside the brown paper bag. And the brown paper bag seals in such a great way - just fold and the bendable top lets you seal it in the same way as you received it. No glue and no torn packet - completely reusable until your hot chocolate is finished. Read more

This is the best and most perfect hot chocolate in South Africa, and they sell it in a 1kg bag. Perfect for Christmas time to enjoy with the family. The flavour has just the right amount of chocolate and sugar to make each cup wonderful.

I can't go back to the other brands after tasting the NOMU drinking chocolate.
It's just the perfect sweetness and the chocolate is dark, rich and creamy.

This is definitely an upgrade on the usual store bought stuff! Instead of tasting like you are drinking chocolate flavouring this tastes like the real deal!

Love this hot chocolate! You use only 2 level tablespoons per cup and you don't have to add sugar. Mine didn't have any chocolate pieces in it like someone else said but it was brilliantly delicious. My only issue is the paper bag the 1 kg pack came in. Mine has torn already so I will just keep it in another container. Will buy again!

I am fussy when it comes to hot chocolate. It needs to be creamy and taste like you are drinking chocolate and this product is both. Love the taste, the smell and everything that goes with it. Will be buying again soon.

Very nice, rich chocolate taste unlike most brands which tend to be a bit bland.
I think it contains small bits of chocolate which accounts for the fuller taste and its value for money at R109 for 1KG.

The packaging is great and so I expected a great quality of hot chocolate- while it actually tasted very much like any other hot chocolate brand in the shops. Nomu, go for a dark chocolate range where the sugar content is a bit lower too.

I like this hot chocolate - it is pretty tasty. I found it a bit sweet - the powder itself has so much sugar in it. It makes quite a thick drink - some people aren't a fan of that - I think I might be one of those people. I also read a review on this products page that it had bits of chocolate in it - that review was definitely not about this product. It has no pieces of chocolate in it - just hot chocolate powder. I'm so impressed by this product! It tastes as good as melting chocolate and adding milk – definitely not a chocolate imitation product. It's the drink equivalent of a warm hug!

I've been buying this product since 2016 and found it excellent but I bought 3 x 1 kg of this hot chocolate (for myself, my nieces and a colleague) in March 2019 and I'm sad to say that something has changed about this product (either the recipe has changed or the quality of ingredients is lower). It's no longer as rich and creamy and doesn't make a nice layer of foam anymore. It also doesn't dissolve as well anymore. I'm kind of embarrassed after recommending it so highly to others! My favourite drinking chocolate, in a more economical large bag! This is my favourite drinking chocolate because it's not too sugary, it's good and chocolaty, it doesn't contain chocolate chunks, and you can drink it in either cold milk or hot milk or water. It's also excellent added to coffee to make a mocha. Delicious :-)

The 1kg packet contains pieces of dark chocolate, which you melt into hot milk. Not too sweet, but absolutely delicious! You can also use this in choc chip cookies or for making brownies!

The product only has 20% chocolate and the main ingredient seems to be sugar . would have like to see at least 50% chocolate content for a NOMU product.
