Care Instructions
- Not dishwasher or microwave safe
- Clean after use as per care instructions
- Avoid cooking with acidic foods until the cookware is very well seasoned (e.g. citrus, tomatoes, beans)
Follow these steps to ensure your cookware stays clean and increasingly seasoned:
- Allow cookware to cool enough to handle, but still quite warm
- Hand wash with hot water & salt or mild soap
- Use a towel to dry thoroughly (important!)
- Rub a thin layer of oil inside the cookware & on the rim (Palm, Flaxseed, Coconut, Canola or other)
- Place on a stove (or in an oven) & heat up until lightly smoking
- Turn off the heat. Carefully use a paper towel to wipe off excess oil (this avoids a sticky surface)
- Once completely cool, store in a cool, dry place
How to restore cast iron
- If there is rust or gunk, first scrub the whole cookware with a steel wool sponge
- Using a scouring pad, wash with soap & hot water
- Use a towel to dry thoroughly (important!)
- Place on a hot stove (or in an oven) to completely evaporate any excess moisture
- Rub a thin layer of oil all over the cookware, inside & outside (Palm, Flaxseed, Coconut, Canola or other)
- Once the oil is rubbed in thoroughly, use a clean paper towel to wipe off excess oil (this avoids stickiness)
- Place cookware in an oven at 230°C to 260°C and bake for 1 hour
- Depending on the type of oil you use, it can get quite smokey
- Allow to cool completely & store in cool, dry place

Customer Reviews & Ratings
Disappointed.
I don't like this product. I used it once after buying it and 5 days later it's still not clean. We used minimal oil and still struggling to clean it — I used hot boiling water to soak it and clean after — and still didn’t work! It wasn't worth it and I can’t get this clean — it’s not quality for Yuppiechef ! Very disappointed with this buy.
I would not recommend this product to a friend.

We’re so sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your cast iron! Cast iron does need a little extra TLC, but once it’s properly seasoned, it becomes much easier to clean and maintain.
For stuck-on bits, we recommend using a mild detergent and a little bit of water to cook off the stuck food bits. If the seasoning has worn off, a quick re-seasoning can help — just coat it with a thin layer of oil and bake it at 230-260°C for an hour. This helps create that smooth, non-stick surface.
