These are solid, sharp, easy to clean and I just love the sheath it comes in.

They have a permanent spot on the fridge door. I've had them for almost a year, and use them all the time, and they still have an amazingly sharp cutting edge.

Bought these through Yuppiechef some months ago.
They are completely useless. They cannot cut anything, even after manually trying to sharpen the blades.

These scissors should not be promoted on Yuppiechef.

This is my second such scissors, as I found that one is just not enough — it is very useful so gets carried out of the kitchen (and not returned) and easy to take apart and wash so also often in the dishwasher when I need it.

We loved the look and feel and functionality of this pair of scissors. Unfortunately, it hasn't stood the test of time after about 13 months — the magnet separated from the sheath after just a couple of months, so we glued it back together and could continue keeping it on the fridge. But now the non-metal parts of the handles have perished and broken off — making the scissors unusable. The scissors were dropped on the floor once or twice, as one does! Those are definitely weak spots, design-wise. Read more

Best pair of kitchen scissors I've owned! And it really is a "pair" of scissors — the blades easily detach and reassemble to use separately as knives, kitchen tools or for cleaning. They are sharp and comfortable to work with — love all the little utilities especially the lemon zester.

We bought these because of the 10-year warranty. After 5 years of following the care instructions correctly the soft plastic on the inside of the handles started to deteriorate and absorb liquids — it got really gross and unhygienic.

The return process resulted in the scissors being sent back to us as is — we received a replacement after 2 months. I would opt for scissors with a solid plastic handle without the soft plastic inner. Read more
