Excellent product
The reading is very visible and shows in Celsius and Fahrenheit, which is great! Hanging it on the oven rack also keeps it out of the way. Value for money.

No baker should be without this oven thermometer
We have a new stove, but when I baked a previously flop-proof cake in it for the first time, it came out like a biscuit, and was burnt black. The next time round, I used this oven thermometer and the result was perfect. My new oven was 30 degrees out!

A great buy!
I recently elsewhere bought a Combination Microwave cooker which has given me consistently poor results. I decided to order a new Oven Thermometer in order to check the oven temperature. My order arrived this morning and I immediately set to to try the new thermometer. Imagine my surprise when I found that the oven registered 200C but thermometer said 110C. TESTED AND TRIED
Staying on a farm and having Eskom lines always bothered me when baking as I always had to turn the heat higher than the recipe indicates. My suspicion was confirmed. The thermometer showed that the temperature is about 10 degrees lower in my oven. It hangs nicely from the wire racks and also stands sturdy on its own.
