Works ok, but coffee is a bit weaker than my older unit. Also the pressure valve leaks on one unit. Other one is ok. I will try to tighten it and see if that works......

The unit works well, but the cup rating is quite misleading. I know espresso cups are small, but did they use thimbles to measure the capacity of this unit?
Had I known, I would have opted for a larger unit.

Hi There,
I very much like my new coffee maker and have already made several delicious cups with it. My only crit would be that is does not quite make 2-cups. I know it is supposed to make 2 espresso coffees, but technically it does not do this. The amount in terms of millilitres of liquid perhaps yes, but the strength of the coffee is not of an espresso standard. The only way I have got it to come close to the desired espresso strength is to compact the coffee in the filter funnel so that it fits more coffee/increases the pressure and makes a stronger coffee. I have used the bigger pots of this variety and the strength of the coffee is fine, without and compaction of the coffee grounds. Other than this it works great.

"If it's your cup of tea, you're doing it wrong"
I was forced to replace my ageing model after it failed to make a good cup of coffee. Realising that it might not be the model's fault and that it might be the tools she is using, I bought this bright shiny new Bialetti for her to work with.
The Bialetti has solved the coffee quality problem (superb) but has done bugger all about the nagging and other irritations in my life.
Disappointed.

We normally use the courier company Aramex. When you place an order on this site you will be asked for a physical address that is normally occupied during office hours. For very remote areas not serviced by our normal courier we will have to deliver via Post Office, or to the nearest town to you that is accessible.
We only deliver gift registry purchases to addresses in South Africa. You can purchase gifts off a registry, but you will not be able to set one up.
