When de-boning meat, trimming fat and sinews, filleting fish or preparing carpaccio, you need a sharp, flexible blade with a tapered, pointed tip. This boning knife from Wusthof is just the ticket.

The Gourmet Series by Wusthof is an entry level series. Each knife is laser cut from a single piece of chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel for maximum strength, balance and heft. This specialised high-carbon, stain resistant alloy ensures that the cutting edge of the knife is razor sharp and also easy to resharpen - crucial in a boning knife. A computer controlled grinding and polishing of the blade also ensures there is perfect tapering from bolster to tip for working around bones small and large.

The knife is beautifully sandwiched by a synthetic, ergonomic handle that's been triple riveted for durability yet still retains its stylish looks and smoothness.

Care Instructions

Cleaning:
If you value your tools we recommend that, after each use, you wash your knives with warm water and a little detergent, rinse carefully and dry with a towel. Corrosive food particles will not affect your blade if washed off directly after use.

Poifect!

Sharp, flexible, good looking knife, made deboning a leg of lamb a simple pleasure also useful for easily cutting channels into meat to stuff with garlic and rosemary. I love it. #knifelove

Excellent Knife!

Have been using this knife for a while now and it is excellent. Deboning chicken thighs for instance is a doddle now, so I save money on buying bone in ones and can make my own stock from the bones. A pleasure to use! The Wüsthof logo on the handle is just a sticker that will slowly come off after a while, but who cares?

I would recommend this product to a friend.
