It takes some practice to get the right amount of batter in the holes, otherwise it makes little bundt cakes. I used a piping bag to fill it and it worked well. A small amount of batter goes a long way. You also have to grease the pan, but that actually gives them a "real-doughnut" consistency. I'm very pleased with this product.

It's a really good quality pan.

I did not buy the pan to make doughnuts. I bought it because I couldn't find savarin moulds.

I want to make the iconic 1970s sweet/dessert, Rum Baba, that is an intensely sweet, dessert/sweet and as the doughnut moulds are smaller than the savarin mould, it suits me better.

At last, you can enjoy a doughnut without fussing with yeast and dangerously hot oil.

Although cake doughnuts do not taste the same they are still delicious, and this pan is a must-have if you are as crazy about doughnuts as me!

The size is absolutely perfect, the pan is high quality and it is so easy to clean.

I've been going back and forth over buying this pan for a few months now, and now that I have it I can't believe I waited so long! If you are hesitant about baked doughnuts because you think they might just taste like round cakes, don't be - they're delicious in their own way, and obviously healthier than fried doughnuts too.

I used the recipe that came with the pan and made four batches in quick succession - the kids loved them. The doughnuts looks like the 'real thing' and the taste is good. They're not as airy as shop bought fried doughnuts though. I recommend dipping in melted chocolate and adding sprinkles - the kids did this part and had lots of fun.

This pan is amazing! When I bought it I had doughnuts in mind but it quickly proved to be versatile! I use it as a mould for bath bombs and I use it for shortbread cookies as well. It's a really well made pan and I am enjoying using it :)

For those of you, like me, who really don't like the proper very sweet deep friend donut type of thing? These are fantastic. The recipe that comes with it works really well. Kids had great fun decorating them (google toppings and the skies your limit!). The pan functioned very well. I didn't have the vegetable spray but wiped it with oil and after the 5 minutes cooling time the donuts came right out of the pan. The size of the donuts is very good. Not enormous but not skimpy. The accompanying recipe is not the best but I will look further for a better one. I was surprised that it only took 9 minutes to bake but they came out just right.
