Does not use a normal gas connection
Although it works well, I feel that potential purchasers should be warned that this product can only be used with a special gas canister which needs to be purchased separately - it does not have a connection to use with a normal gas cylinder. I don't think that potential buyers are informed of this.

Perfect Portable Gas Braai
I chose the Q1200 over the Q2200 due to it's compact size and transportability. It is a perfect braai for 2-4 people. Quality is superb as you would expect from Weber. It does not disappoint. The gas connector fits any 500g lpg cartridge and has a neat carry cage for the cartridge. To make the braai compatible for larger gas bottles a conversion kit is needed.
