The product doesn't taste discernibly different from natural cocoa powder, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I baked with it. It does look darker than natural cocoa powder. As I understand it, you can substitute this in any recipe that uses baking powder, but for baking soda recipes, use natural cocoa powder.
