Swiss Flat-Mate Cordless Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I am delighted with this purchase - so easy to use as it is cordless - no tripping over extension cords. I have a small home so the convenience of this vacuum cleaner is just what I need. Love the fact that it is bagless and a breeze to empty.

I actually vacuum now. I didn't vacuum before I bought this, because my previous vacuum had a defect where in addition to sucking up dirt, it also sucked the joy from my soul.

Most amazing vacuum. It is meant for a flat, but I use it in my house. Battery life is amazing, handles with ease. Cleans easily and gets in every where.

I have no need for a broom anymore! My son is now very helpful too, as he loves it as much as I do.

Picks up all the pet hair with ease, highly recommended.

In all my many years of vacuum cleaning I have never owned such a light fuss free product as this Swiss Cordless Bagless vacuum cleaner. I manage to whizz through the entire house without having to plug and unplug. Emptying the dust container is so easy, just shake it gently into the rubbish bin. And then the small part comes out to get into corners, as well as cleaning the car interior. I love it! Read more

I'm thrilled with this vacuum cleaner. Sturdy, so easy to use and with unexpectedly powerful suction. It makes a clean sweep of tiles, moves easily across carpets and I can do my whole (small) house before the battery discharges. The detachable hand vacuum is also extremely useful. It does take quite a long time to recharge (six hours plus), but that's OK for me.

This vacuum cleaner is neat, compact and so easy to use. It is well designed and you can tell it was made with care. It is solidly built and is a great quality machine. I have used the vacuum cleaner a few times now in my apartment and it makes vacuuming a breeze. I am thrilled with this purchase.

I am so pleased that I made the decision to replace our conventional "pull along need the extension cord and don't forget to buy bags" vacuum cleaner with this classy stream-lined beauty! She's a perfect fit for our little 64m2 house and does an excellent job of cleaning all the different floor surfaces of hardwood, tiles and carpet. The nifty hand-held vacuum cleaner part is an added bonus, especially great for vacuuming inside my car! Having to clean the filters regularly would be more of a hassle than it is, thanks to the simple click apart and put back together system and the charging station with accessory holder just helps keep everything neat and tidy. The Flat-Mate is great for a small apartment - carpet or tile. It is very easy to use and the charging stand that comes with it is quite handy.

It is, however, very important to clean it often depending on how dirty the area is. If you have a pet that sheds a lot then you would have to clean it after each use to ensure it functions properly on your next use. A great buy :)

I have a small apartment and this cleaner is just perfect for our space. It's really easy to use as there's no separate components to bring together whenever you want to use it - it's just grab and go! All you need to do is make sure the chamber is emptied regularly to ensure maximum power.

I have used it twice and found this vacuum nifty and convenient for small areas and a quick clean. It's light and flexible. It runs out of power within 20 minutes so it is not ideal for a larger dwelling. It takes 4-5 hours to charge. Ideal as a second standby vacuum.

Love the cordless, bagless concept, easy to clean. The 23 minutes battery life is just enough to last as long as my “battery life” before a recharge is needed. Highly recommended. A flatmate indeed!

This little vacuum cleaner just makes life so much easier especially when you just want to do a quick clean - saves all the inconvenience of hauling out the big vacuum cleaner and the extension cords because cords are never long enough! It is also more powerful than I expected and easy to store - takes up very little space.

So convenient! The handle swivels smoothly and it's light, so it's so quick to complete an area. It's surprisingly effective and the brush inside helps collecting cat hair on carpets. It's less noisy than a normal vacuum, so it doesn't frighten our pets as much. Know what you're buying though - I'm using this as a daily use supplement to a more powerful vacuum cleaner (however it's such a mission to struggle with a heavy machine and an irritating cord now). This cordless vacuum is a breeze! I've had it for 8 months now. Vacuuming all the carpets in my flat is chop chop. The suction power is good, but for five stars I would like it a bit stronger.

Amazing product that does a great job cleaning up dog hair off our wooden floors and off the dog beds.
It is a small vacuum cleaner so is ideal for smaller areas, not necessarily the entire house, and has a limited time it can be used for (around 20 mins) before it needs to be charged for 4/5hours. It does need to be emptied often to maintain a good sucking strength, but it's quick and simple to empty.
Very neat and compact too.

I used my new vacuum for the first time this morning, after collecting it yesterday, and I am amazed with how effective it is - a breeze to operate, well-built and it picks up every single dog hair (we have 3 that sleep inside at night) in one sweep. Great vacuum for its price point.. Charges on its stand for 5 hours and switches/stops charging when done. Use it for 25 min on high - which is more than enough time to vacuum a small home.

Only downside is hair gets caught in brush at the bottom (brush can unclip) but can easily be remedied by cutting hair with a scissors every now and then.

This is a great little vacuum. It has made a huge difference in our lives. Instead of being a massive chore, it's quick and easy to grab this vacuum and get going.
At this price point you're not getting the LiPo or Lithium-Ion batteries found in more expensive units, instead the cheaper NiMh. It seems fine for this application. As with anything battery operated, it probably won't last forever, but the build quality is really good and it will hopefully last as long as the batteries keep going. Read more

Just order one of these and don't even give it a second thought. So easy to use as it is cordless and then it is a powerful little machine on top of it. I hardly sweep anymore since I've bought this handy top quality little cleaner. Wish I had come across it years ago. I'm considering buying one for our beach house too.

We have quite a big space for this vacuum to clean on hardwood floors and some rugs.
We also have 4 big dogs - long haired and short haired. They lose a lot of hair every day. They also traipse lots of sand in from the beach and garden.
This thing is amazing!

I bought this specifically to quickly clean up the passage every morning where my dogs sleep at night, and it works perfectly. It is a pity that it does not have much of a standby battery life, but when it stays plugged in, it works like a charm!

This is a bad company that I will not support again. Within the first few weeks of owning this vacuum cleaner, charging it as per instructions, the battery stopped working. I asked Yuppiechef for a repair after which I very quickly got a replacement part sent by Swiss themselves. They called me directly.

However, I was told to throw away the faulty part in the bin with the battery and all. It's a big piece of plastic as well. They didn't recommend recycling or disposing of the battery in a proper way which makes me believe that Swiss is a disgusting company that does not care about the environment at all and makes no effort whatsoever to recycle their products.

Furthermore the replacement part does not want to charge a few weeks after receiving it, after charging it as per instructions. Do not buy this brand. Read more
