Flat-Mate Cordless Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I've had this little Swiss Flat-Mate for a couple of months, but because I live alone in a small space, and have no pets, I don't use it that often. However, it has, so far, been extremely easy to use. It has good suction (I have hardwood floors throughout with a couple of kilims), it's easy to navigate round furniture etc., and easy to empty. I have hardly used the detachable hand vacuum and as I've never had one before can't make a good comparison with other hand vacuums, but I suspect it's not quite as efficient. However, it works fine for me. The whole thing takes up very little space whilst being stored and the re-charge stand works great. Love the fact that it's got no cord so I can whip around my whole (74 sqm) apartment in about 5 minutes flat, long before the battery runs low. There are not many units on the market designed to service and be stored in small spaces, and for the price, this Swiss really fits the bill. Read more

Our dusty little cabin (70sqm) is so quick to clean. It sucks up from small to minuscule particles. I am amazed every time I clean out the dust receptacle.
We havent really used the hand-held configuration, it's handle is not as ergonomic as the upright configuration.
It stores easily!
And with the battery, it has two perks for us. NO tangly chord. Also, with our solar pv electrical supply, there are no crazy usage spikes, the battery charges over 5hrs equally.
So i would recommend it for people that don't have to clean up wet spills, living compactly, and that has a short haired dog or two like is. Read more

I am so very happy with this product! It is powerful, so much more than the cordless that I had before, that I purchased at the same price.
It is an excellent price for the quality – just be sure to clean out the filters regularly, as this does put strain on the motor even if you can't tell. The only downside to bagless vacuum cleaners.

The very light and cordless vacuum takes the effort out of vacuuming. I bought it to vacuum the upper level of my house, as I hate carrying my vacuum cleaner upstairs. I now use it through my whole house and can vacuum upstairs and downstairs without having to recharge it and it sucks up all the dirt and dogs hair from carpets and tiles. I am very surprised about the efficiency of this little appliance and would definitely recommend it! Read more

I bought this vacuum for my 88 year old mother a month ago, when she moved into a 90 square meter retirement cottage. My sister is now also purchasing one, as my mom recommends it so highly. She loves the ease of use and how well it cleans.
