The Simple Summer Cookathon is here
This year, our aim is to keep things simple. Simple like tea on a Sunday afternoon, a walk on the mountain, and a glass of good, red wine. Simple like a fresh seasonal salad, classic risotto and homemade chocolate pudding. The three recipes we’ve chosen for you to cook are classics, easily scalable and no-mess, no-fuss. This time of year is moggy, so here’s a good reason to slow down, sit down and enjoy some good food with special people.
To take part:
- head to our Simple Summer Cookathon page (to read more and get the three recipes)
- set a date, invite your guests and shop for your ingredients
- cook up a storm, snap some photos and submit them by Monday 2 December
Everyone who takes part – by cooking all three recipes and submitting photos – will get a little something from us and there will be prizes for meals showing special efforts and simple summer fun. Check out some photos from our community cookathons in 2010, 2011 and 2012, nice hey? Eating together is something to be celebrated, and we hope you join us.
Ready? Head on over to the Simple Summer Cookathon page.
The 2013 Simple Summer Cookathon is now closed. See you again next year, folks.
