Come and cook with us in Windhoek

Learning to cook is like learning to ride a bicycle – someone can tell you how it works and you can read up about it but the real learning comes from hands-on experience and handling the bike, or in this case, the food. So, if you’re still a little wobbly and need a steadying hand (and live in Windhoek), then cooking with Rhona Strauss is going to take you from training wheels and uncertainty to the Tour de France of cooking – or at least tackling dinner with a lot more enthusiasm.

You might remember that last December we mentioned that Rhona hosted a cooking class in Windhoek, and it was so popular, we’ve decided to get involved again. Last year, Rhona covered some great dishes for entertaining over the festive season, as well as a wine pairing with Fairview wines.

This time, Rhona wants to remind you why you love to cook (or ignite that love if you haven’t quite been able to figure out what the fuss is all about). The evening will concentrate on easy, quick and simple suppers that anyone can manage after a long day at work. With up to 80 people cooking along, the evening is sure to be full of fun, laughter and learning new things. This is what some of last year’s participants had to say:
