Smeg Whistling Stovetop Kettle, 2.3L

I would advise Smeg to test their products for durability far more stringently as the coating should not chip, the lid has to be pushed to close and this is how the chips are going to continue to appear.

Aesthetically very nice and it is specifically advertised for gas stoves but although it is a Smeg stove gas top - black marks are already appearing on the blue coating around the bottom and I need to know what will remove this, please.

We are very fortunate to have solar energy but, you cannot use an electric kettle as it's too many KWz. Using a kettle on the hob not only saves a lot of electricity it's also 24/7 which is very useful for a wife who drinks 6+ cups of tea a day!!

It's not as quick as an electric, tends to make more noise as it rattles on the hob as it warms up, however, it's fit for today's purpose and looks attractive. Read more

First of all, the kettle looks stunning and uber-classy! Didn't realize how big it is making it extremely practical in the kitchen.
