This bread knife is perfect for slicing easily through bread where a sharp knife just wouldn't do.
- Traditional Japanese style of knife making where you take an extremely hard carbon steel used for the edge, then clad on each side a protective layer of stainless steel
- Cutting edge is ground to an angle of 16 degrees making it extremely sharp
- Japanese steels used in the cutting core of the knives allow them to hold these razor sharp edges without the need for excessive re-sharpening
- VG10 stainless steel has a higher density, which allows the steel to be tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 61, and still have the flexibility and strength to take and keep a perfect edge
- Wood handle is layered between sheets of plastic resin then fused together under heat and pressure
- D shape design of the handle has a distinct ridge that goes down the side of the handle that fits perfectly in the hand, as well as stabilising the blade and so preventing it from turning and twisting
- Asymmetrical bolster is ground out more on the right side to provide proper finger placement and an easy, secure grip

Care Instructions
- Always wash the knives by hand in order to protect the material and maintain long lasting sharpness
- Immediately after each use, clean the blade under running water and dry with a soft cloth
- Never place the blades in the dishwasher
- Occasionally oil the handle with some neutral oil
- Use only wooden boards or plastic cutters with medium strength
- Keep the knives in a blade protector, either in a knife block, on a wall magnetic board
- Blades are not suitable for cutting bones (including of fish) or frozen foods
