Product Info

The French press, or cafetière as it is also known, was actually patented by an Italian. Designed to brew coffee using a soaking method, and then pressing the ground coffee to the bottom of the coffee pot, it is a simple and easy way to make a great cup of coffee. This product is decent in that it is a basic plunger for a quick coffee. For the price it does what its supposed to well. There are higher quality plungers available but if you looking for a decent basic one at a good price, this is the one.

Great size for 2-4 cups of coffee. The glass beaker is easy to clean. The plastic handle/holder is perfect.

Sadly the glass coffee pot is not dishwasher safe so I have to purchase another

This plunger did not even last a full week without the glass cracking from the heat of the water. It was only used a handful of times. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this product for purchase.

Both items I purchased cracked when pouring water into the glass. So at this stage not entirley sure what to make of the product.

Quality product, but not 6-cup capacity

The quality and look of this product met expectations and does the job of making coffee. However, it is nowhere near a 6-cup capacity. It is a maximum of 5 ordinary cups, so the description is misleading. I would have purchased a larger one had I known.
