This two-sided mallet lets you pound chicken flat for faster broiling or tenderize steaks so they melt in your mouth. The pyramid-shaped teeth are perfect for breaking down tougher fibres to tenderize and prepare meats for marinating, while the smooth side quickly flattens meats to a uniform thickness for quick, even cooking.

Meat tenderisers are few and far between, but this one is great. It's got the flat and spikes option, which both work well for different purposes... just listen to the little sticker that says "DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER" - unlike my husband :/

The meat has no chance with this guy; works well, well weighted and solid. Nothing more fun than bashing out schnitzels after a long day at work.

Have used it a couple of times on chicken fillets and steak. Works very well and we're able to flatten the meat in a jiffy. Cleans easily as well. Would recommend to anyone.
