I bought this infuser because I needed something small enough to fit through the smallish opening of my teapot. The diameter measurement is accurate (4 cm) and the holes are small enough to prevent most leaves coming through.

Works like a charm. If the tea is ground up, then a few grounds escape. Easy to clean.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who enjoys making lavender etc. teas. He is thrilled with the gift - the added advantage being the coolgrip twist-open handle (no more burnt fingertips)!

I use grated ginger in my tea and all other strainers/infusers kept leaking small pieces of the ginger. This product was always too expensive at other shops that I looked at and when it came up on your website I ordered two (just in case...). I love it and use it all day long. It does not leak any of the grated ginger and is easy to clean. You just have to rinse it. It is on my kitchen counter permanently and loving it! Thank you!!!!! Read more

I've had this teaball for a month or so now. I got it as I am trying to cut down on plastic/waste generally and I get through a lot of tea, not to mention I prefer loose leaf tea. I found that you can find loose leaf tea much more easily in just cardboard packaging whereas teabags always seem to come in a plastic wrapped box, with foil inners etc. (and teabags have plastic in them too). The ball works well in general. Though I mainly drink rooibos so you have to not put too much in/shake it a little to settle the stokkies before closing as otherwise they can jam it when you close it. They also sometimes stick through the holes and then fall out into the mug - but I've found a couple of taps once the ball is closed and before you put it in the mug and pour water gets rid of any errant stokkies! It diffuses really nicely, is easy to empty, the twist mechanism to close it works well and the long stem means it works well in big mugs too. So all in all a good tool. Read more
