Pretty and convenient
Very good looking and functional butter dish. I prefer the tub to the big lid thing. It keeps things tidy-looking when the butter is low. My only criticism would be that the lid is loose, so no rubber seal or anything.

Does what is needed
We looked at many butter dishes and most that are tubs as opposed to ones that have lift up lids covering the butter block, none fit a South African sized 500g butter block, but this is not a train smash. We cut off what is necessary which is minimal and squash it down the sides. We like soft, spreadable butter and wanted a dish that we can put locally sourced home-made butter and leave it out in Read more

Good product but struggles to take a 500g butter pack.
Good product but the lid does not sit correctly when you put a 500g butter pack in, yet it said it holds 500g. Yes the stone jar does but the lid then does not fit.
