Le Creuset Stainless Steel Garlic Press

I have purchased and returned 2 of these. Both of them broke off at the handle when crushing a single garlic clove.

Looks to me like a design flaw.

I would not recommend this product to a friend.

So this garlic press looks very pretty and has a great name, but does it actually work? Well the honest answer here is - not as well as you would like. I was rather disappointed after spending such a lot on a garlic press, only to find that the garlic pushes out of the sides of the press. Almost like they did not make the holes in the press big enough. It is easy to clean, but I would prefer it to work well. Not the best buy! Read more

We did have a problem with the first one we bought breaking at the join of the handle. The article was replaced immediately and is great.

Now this is a garlic press that actually works! Don't waste your money on trying other cheaper brands. As an added bonus - it is dishwasher safe.
