Great for gas stoves and oven cooking!
A great product as we had just bought a gas stove and the handles heat up very quickly.
Not entirely heat proof but gives you about 30 seconds to grab that hot pan from the oven and land it safely burn-free.
Great gifts for the new home :)

Saved me a few burnt fingers already
I often cook a steak or pork fillet in a pan in the oven and then put the pan onto the stove afterwards to seal and caramelise the meat, and I can't tell you how many times I've grabbed that hot handle when using it on the stove, forgetting that it's still close to 200 degrees! I slip this on when I remove the pan from the oven and it serves as both a protector and a reminder of the hot handle.
