Care Instructions
- Regular oiling with oil will deepen the colour, and prolong the life of the wood.
- Feeding moisture in the form of oil into the wooden surface also makes it less porous, and prone to absorb bacteria laden liquids from the foods chopped on it.
- Wipe with a damp cloth.
- Do not submerge in water or wash in the dishwasher.
- If onion or garlic odours persist, or the board is stained in any way, straight white vinegar sprayed on and wiped off should eliminate odours, and help with stains. It's also effective against bacteria, and is perfect for use on food surfaces.
