Jura Free Standing Corded Milk Frother with Removable Jug, 250ml

I always judge a product by the aftersales service and backup. Unfortunately, Jura South Africa fails this one. We have a Jura coffee machine for over 13 years... love it, it really is the best in all respects. Then the milk frother accessory... well it has lasted short of 2 years. Clearly a design problem with the magnet. I called Jura and spoke to customer service and then the technical helpline. According to them, they do not carry parts to fix these machines so my only alternative is to purchase a new one. At almost R2000 that's an expensive buy to have to replace every 2 years. The blasé "oh well we don't carry parts and your only alternative is to purchase a new one" attitude is not cool. This has left a really bad taste in my mouth, Jura. What Jura fails to state on ANY packaging or marketing for this milk frother, is that this item is not repairable and they do not carry any parts to support repairs to this product. So after 1 year, if it breaks they do not give a toss. I bought one and just out of warranty it failed to work. Jura responded that they do not repair this item and that I am welcome to purchase a new one. Their response showed me that they clearly do not have any clue in customer service and they certainly do not value their customers. How can you expect customer loyalty if you cannot be honest with your customer? Yuppiechef, you need to step up and check on the after-sales service of goods that you are selling. Bad after-sales service from your suppliers is a reflection on you as we are buying directly from you. Read more

This milk frother is everything I hoped for and more. What a treat to now be able to have a delicious cappuccino every morning. Definitely worth buying.

I was originally after the Krups frother because I have seen it at work. However, budget cuts meant I had to look elsewhere - I came across this one and watched some reviews on Youtube. It has really impressed me, makes great creamy foam and can do a large volume. It's also got a removable cup setup so that cleaning is easy. I have found using the heating-disk actually gives a nicer frother, instead of the frothing-disk. Happy to recommend it, performs as well as more expensive options. Read more

Well made, easy to use and clean. The frother fitting whips the milk foam really stiff (like some coffee shops do their coffee froth), so I've found using the non-froth fitting actually creates the more flexible, creamy foam I like.

This is honestly the best thing I've bought this year. It makes fantastic warm milk froth, enough for 3 - 4 cappuccinos. Incredibly easy to clean and it looks great on my countertop!

I bought a cheapie that didn’t last long so I decided to make a better choice the second time. I researched milk frothers, and two really stood out in most of the reviews, this is one of them. The Jura is a bit more expensive than most, but it is worth paying a bit more. The design is smart, and the thing that impressed me the most is that the cup is washable and completely detachable from the heating plate. It has three settings which is helpful to make different beverages. My absolute favourite is velvety hot chocolate made from Nomu Skinny Hot Chocolate and low fat milk which tastes wickedly indulgent, but is not. The only drawback is that it does not get very hot.

After trying a good few milk frothers, this one came in as a lovely surprise. I'm totally hooked on the new way to make hot chocolate. There are 3 settings. Just a great addition to my morning coffee ritual too.

I bought this frother and I absolutely loved it - then it’s started making a dreadful noise and eventually stopped working. The manufacturer replaced it as it was inside its warranty but after not even 4 months of working it’s doing the same thing - the actual frothing disks wear inside and then they are no longer balanced so they don’t make the same stiff froth and it starts making an awful sound…. Foamy, creamy milk — so much nicer than another brand frother we owned. Works well with both dairy and plant-based milks. So easy to wash as the electric part is in the base, where the jug sits on. The frothing jug can be submerged in water.
