What is the Seconds from Greatness range all about?

This range is a small, curated selection of second hand Yuppiechef products. Each item is either already used but still in good condition, or brand new with some minor marking / damaged packaging but still in perfect working order. We are proud to offer these goods to our customers at a 25 - 50% discount off the normal retail price.

Can I order these deal products online for delivery?

No, these products are available from our Westlake Outlet store only.

Can I reserve items I am interested in / will you hold items for me?

Unfortunately not - the items are available on a first come, first served basis and no item can be reserved or held.

What kind of products do you have in the Seconds from Greatness range?

The products change almost daily, so it's difficult to be exact, but they range from second hand appliances like toasters and food processors to chopping boards, crockery and kitchen tools

Is there a specific day of the month that the stock gets released?

No, our returned and damaged stock gets assessed periodically and will be moved into the store on a regular basis, but not a specific day of the month.

What are the detailed Terms and Conditions around guarantees, warranties and exchanges?

In order to ensure you are happy with your purchase, please inspect all items before completing your purchase.

1. For all intents and purposes of these terms and conditions, any items sold from our special deal section will be called ‘Seconds from Greatness Goods’.
2. Any item bought from Seconds from Greatness can be returned to the Yuppiechef Westlake Outlet within 14 days of purchase for a refund of the deal price paid.
3. Promotional prices are only valid on specific Seconds from Greatness Goods while stocks last and may be withdrawn at any time.
4. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to determine that the Seconds from Greatness Goods purchased are suitable for the purposes of intended use.

Appliances

1. Appliances sold as Seconds from Greatness Goods do not carry a warranty period, regardless of information stipulated on the packaging or pamphlet insert.
2. While we are not able to uphold or extend the warranty period, we are able to facilitate service and/or repair queries with suppliers on the purchaser's behalf. All costs related to shipping, labour, parts and repairs will be for the purchaser's account and will be communicated before any work is commenced.
3. All returned and repaired appliances have been tested for their intended purpose and only included as Seconds from Greatness Goods if operating correctly.
4. Repaired Seconds from Greatness Goods do not hold any warranty or guarantee on the repair workmanship or parts.
5. If, within 14 days of purchase, the appliance does not operate as expected, we will accept the return and will process a credit or refund for the deal price paid. This item will not be eligible for an exchange.

Non-Appliances

1. Non-appliance products sold as Seconds from Greatness Goods are not eligible for returns or credits after 14 days of purchase.
2. Purchase of Seconds from Greatness Goods with any defects, scratches, dents or faults not affecting the intended purpose implies an acceptance of these defects and these items will not be eligible for return or credit after 14 days of purchase.
