This original Cape Rum uses the best of the region, they ferment molasses using red wine yeast to promote more fruity esters to complement the strong finish.
- Vanilla and floral notes on the nose
- Smooth caramel, chocolate and dried stone fruit on the palate, with light savoury molasses finish
- Fermenting Molasses, using a red wine yeast to promote more fruit esters, the molasses wine is distilled and blended with selected cuts from first and second distillations
- The distillate goes through their unique AMP technique, whereby it is aged on a combination of French and American oak and finally gets finished in refurbished wine barrels before it is bottled
