• Clean each part thoroughly before first use and after each use
• Once you've finished cooking, turn the temperature control to the OFF position and unplug the power cord from the mains
• Allow the appliance to cool, for at least 30 minutes, before cleaning
• The scraping tool can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher
• Dispose of grease from the drip tray
• The drip tray can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher
• The plates can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher
• Do not use metallic objects such as knives, when cleaning as this can damage the non-stick coating
• Use wooden or heatproof utensils only
• When using the grill plates, if you've been cooking seafood, wipe the plates with lemon juice to prevent seafood flavour from transferring to the next recipe
• Never immerse the base unit in water or other liquids
• To clean the housing and control panel, simply wipe with a clean, damp cloth
• In between recipes, scrape excess food build-up, then wipe off any residue with a paper towel, before proceeding with the next recipe
• Never leave plastic utensils in contact with the hot plates
• Make sure all parts are clean and dry before storing
• Never wrap the cord around the outside of the unit
• Never immerse the plug or lead in water or any other liquid
• Never use abrasive cleaners, hard implements or a scourer, as this may cause damage to the non-stick coating
