Using Amber Jewel Plums which have a very high natural sugar content this versatile preserve goes with just about anything, from cheese to serve with savoury dishes.

Serving Suggestion: Pork sausages with plum and onion preserve

Awesome

I have been buying this preserve for a few years now and love it, great with cheese! The plum is also great.
Jams are not so good, too much sugar and no fruit flavour!

Chaloner Plum and Onion Preserve

This product is one of those that when you add it to a meal, it elevates it to super special. Totally impressive, I'm never without it. Fantastic with chicken, pork and the best thing ever on steak.

More than preserve...

Jamie Oliver can sometimes be seen adding a little jam to his gravy. This plum and onion preserve is a much better option - a couple of teaspoons stirred in as the gravy thickens adds some real interest without cloying sweetness.
That's quite apart from being perhaps the best thing you can add to cheese or cold meats.
