Bosch Electric Citrus Press with Pulp Adjustor

Compared to my previous citrus juicer this is a much slower, lower powered machine. The advertised 25 watt motor should have warned me! It is adequate for small scale use but does not squeeze out as much juice as it should. Not that easy to clean the pulp out from the sieve. Although I am a huge Bosch fan, I would not highly recommend this appliance.

My only criticism is the rotating disc to control pulp It is not really needed and makes for difficult cleaning I have simply removed it

When new, the lids and parts are stuck together and difficult to take apart but after some use works well.

For the second time I buy this juicer (dropped the jar on the floor from the first one) and just wanna highly recommend it. Compared to amount of juice what comes out from my slow DNA juicer and they were even! Bosch is simply the perfect citrus juicer

I cannot recommend this juicer enough. Previously had another brand which was just frustrating to use (stops and then wouldnt get going again) - would never consider another brand again but hopefully won't need to replace it.

Loved it for one year and one month, sadly this product is engineered to fail just out off the warranty period.

So I just got this product today and was quite keen to try it out.

Good points
- easy to use
- easy on the hands (if you are going to press many oranges in one go)
- doesn't make a mess while using it
- fills up straight into the jug of 700ml, not straight into a glass (which I prefer)
- easy to clean (dishwasher safe)

Negatives
- the motor is not very powerful (25 watts)
- it takes longer than doing it with a manual juicer
- expensive given how long it takes

Recommendation
If you are going to do this every day, it's not worth it in my opinion. Rather look for something with more wattage. But that pours straight into a glass, which means currently there is not a juicer on the market that I know of that will suit my needs.

My life going forward
I used it so cannot return it, so think I will have to settle on doing this once a week (fill up 2 jugs or so), keep it cold in the fridge and pour myself a glass every day.
