Brilliant upgrade to stainless steel!
I owned the aluminium model in the past and loved the taste and aroma of the coffee it produced, but became concerned that this metal may not be good for one's health if used long term. So, when I saw the beautiful new design in stainless steel, it was a "no-brainer" — I purchased it immediately and am delighted to again have that wonderful taste and aroma back in the kitchen!

A nice upgrade.
I owned the previous stainless steel Bialetti espresso maker and found that it no longer consistently produced a good cup as it often didn't seal properly in spite of replacing the O-ring.
In its defence, it was 12 years old so I decided to upgrade to the new one. There have been a few minor upgrades (like the thread and the handle length and design) and I'm loving having consist Read more
