Amelia Jackson Industries came about in 1989 after the owners purchased cotton rugs in Zimbabwe a few years earlier. Seeing the good value and the fact that the rugs were machine washable, they decided that there was an opening for good quality cotton rugs in South Africa. The authenticity, classic designs and durable materials of Amelia Jackson will bring any room together beautifully.

Amelia Jackson Industries is a Cape Town-based weaver who works with predominantly cotton yarns, using the age-old method of hand weaving on old timber looms. All their products are locally sourced and produced by local artisans.

Beautiful rug
This is a beautiful rug but the colour is not what l expected as it is not true charcoal. It has a blue-green tint, especially when the light is on at night. Fortunately, it matches the decor in another room.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great value.
Not sure why they’re sold as bath mats when they’re clearly big enough to be used as bedside mats.
Which is actually why I bought them. They are easily big enough to fit next to either side of a bed in a small/medium-sized room. They are not super thick but are just thick enough to be comfy to stand on instead of a cold floor.
