Speaking of falling in love…

We had a grand total of three Yuppiechef weddings during January. Dale married Phil, Paul married Kerry and Spatchit, our committed office mascot, well, he eloped with Cookie. Love in the air at Yuppiechef HQ? If you’re interested, our office water is now for sale at R500 a bottle.

The Vineyard Hotel and Yuppiechef WeddingsPaul and Kerry had their wedding at the gorgeous Vineyard Hotel in Newlands, which, for those of you who don’t know Cape Town, lies right under the mountain and is one of the city’s gems. It’s totally worth a visit, even if it’s just for afternoon tea to gaze at the incredible mountain or to try out one of their fantastic restaurants. The food at Paul’s wedding was 100% scrumptious, to say the least.

ZaraZoo Wedding PhotographyMoving on to wedding number two, Dale & Phil, both part of the Yuppiechef family, got hitched in the beautiful village of Greyton, nestled alongside the Riviersonderend mountain range. The venue was the Greyton Lodge and the reception took place under a stunning Bedouin tent with an outdoor dance floor. A pretty splendid setting, we’d say. (Note Dale’s very special Global Knife used to slice the cake!)

Greyton Lodge WeddingThe third wedding was that of Spatchit, our office mascot, who eloped with Cookie (and who, you’ll be glad to know, was named by the Yuppiechef community). They’re now living happily ever after, pinned to our pinboard.

And finally, all of the above lucky fishes (yes, we said ‘fishes’), had their wedding registries with Yuppiechef;) Damn that makes us jealous.
