For three very lucky Dads out there…
He held you when you were tiny, taught you to ride a bike as a kid, and gave you good, solid advice as you got older. We think dads the world over deserve recognition so last week we ran a competition that would give three lucky winners the chance to buy their dad a gift he’d remember for Father’s Day this year.
We gave you some ideas to start with (check out these top 15 Father’s Day pressies) and boy did you run with it. From biltong makers and bread machines to pizza stones and new, razor-sharp knives, we can see how much you want to treat your dads. Among our favourites were a heart-shaped cocotte (to make up for all the gifts dad got for mom that benefited him!), and a knife skills book for the dad who broke his chef’s knife attacking a leg of lamb.
While we’d love to give each one of you a voucher to buy the dads in your lives a great gift, we had to choose three winners. So without further ado, the winners are Heather Johnston, Aliza Naudé and Rene Brophy. If the lucky winners can mail us with their contact details to competitions@yuppiechef.com, we’ll get the vouchers to you pronto.
Happy Dad-celebrating, people.
