A rather spectacular cosmopolitan sorbet

Turning a cocktail into a sorbet is an elegant way to treat your guests. None comes prettier than this festive cranberry cocktail. Made in the Rolls-Royce of ice cream machines, the Magimix Le Glacier Turbine, it only takes 30 minutes to make from start to finish. Dreamy.

Magimix sorbet

Ingredients:

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 cups cranberry juice
2 limes, juiced
1/2 cup vodka
2 shots Triple sec or Cointreau

Cosmo sorbets

Method:

1. Heat the water over medium heat. Add the sugar and let it dissolve to form a simple sugar syrup. Allow to cool.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir through and pour into the bowl of your ice cream maker.
3. Follow your machine’s instructions. It should take approximately 30 minutes.
4. Serve in a fancy glass like the Bormioli Rocco Ypsilon Cocktail Glasses.
