If for you half of the joy of a perfect cuppa is the meticulous method of making it, then embrace this most crucial step of artisanal coffee brewing by putting your beans through the Artisan Burr Grinder. This barista-quality grinder is able to produce coffee grounds of even and predictable size, consistently, so the result is a higher quality extraction that will honour the flavour profile of your bean, giving you a more nuanced cup, every time.
Operates at 450 rpm which allows for a quiet grind, with low frictional heat, which helps to preserve flavour and aroma
The compact design and stylish lines makes it pretty on the countertop and quite compact for cabinet storage, too
Comes with burr-cleaning brush and coffee scoop
2 year warranty on household use
The 200g capacity glass bean hopper, hopper lid and coffee bin are dishwasher safe
Grind control dial lets you select the right consistency for espresso, automatic drip or French Press brewing. Special helical gear controls the delivery of coffee to the burrs for better grind consistency. The bin seal plate helps position the coffee bin under grinding spout and prevents coffee grounds from escaping. Glass grind container minimises static 'cling' of coffee grinds
Good coffee beans deserve the best grinder and this one is it. With an adjustable burr you will be sure to get the perfect grind for your beans, regardless of the machine you have. We have adjusted the machine to suit our need for espresso. The beans grind quickly and with no catching and the hopper is properly sealed for bean storage to ensure that they stay fresh.
I just love my coffee and my KitchenAid grinder. Paired with the espresso maker have given me the ability to make coffee so good I seldom find better at most cafe's. A word of warning: my first attempts were some of the worst coffee I ever tasted! But perseverance, Yuppiechef tips and Google helped me get my barista skills to acceptable levels quite rapidly. I am still learning the mysteries of coffee making and each new advance is received with pride and pleasure. One drawback that allows me to award only 4 stars is the lack of spare parts. The grounds collector jar was accidentally broken and I have been unable to replace it as yet.
