Gravy is an incredible thing, spreading the flavour all over the plate. But we can live without the fat that often goes into the gravy, right? Now you can have perfect gravy, and strain the fat out. Magic? We think so.
Simpy pop the straining lid onto the top, and pour hot gravy into the jug, slowly, to prevent splashing. The straining lid will keep all solid parts (onion, bone, meat, herbs, etc.) out of the gravy.
Once inside the jug (keep track of how much you need with the handy measurements on the side), leave to stand. The fat will naturally separate into a layer on top. Usually, you would have to scoop or prise that fat off, but with the Gravy Separator, you can just pour straight from the jug.
Simply pop the lid, releasing the spout plug, and pour the lean gravy into a serving container. Lean, mean gravy-separating machine. We like this.
