I ordered this for my mum for Christmas. She has cookery books from England and South Africa so some recipes are in pounds and ounces whilst others are metric. It was a pain for her to keep converting manually.
This kitchen scale is great because it weighs both imperial and metric measures - liquids and solids. You can toggle between all the variables and there is a tare feature which means you can go back to zero each time you add an ingredient.
The scale is small enough for neat storage but big enough to be a joy to use. The display is clear and easy to read and the scale switches off automatically after a couple of minutes of inactivity so there is no wastage of the battery. An awesome product which has been in almost constant use since Christmas Day.
